Lake Cliff Tower Recognized by Preservation Dallas

The winners of the Eighth Annual 2007 Preservation Achievement Awards were announced on Friday, February 23rd, in the Grand Ballroom at the Adolphus Hotel. Chaired by Paige and John Slates, Brooke and Blake Hortenstine, and Brynn and Taylor Allday, the ceremony had a special addition, a tribute to Neiman Marcus for serving as the anchor to downtown retail for 100 years. Ignaz Gorischek, Vice President of Store Development/Presentation, presented an overview of the store’s history, accompanied by a visual presentation. Alice Murray served as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

The award recipients this year were chosen by a three-person jury consisting of Ralph Randall, a Real Estate Agent with David Griffin Realtors, Susan Kline, an Architectural Historian from Fort Worth, and Richard Ryan, an Architect from Austin.
